When the Von Dutch shirts first came out, I was into the 'greaser' scene and used to be able to get them for about $15 at the mall. After some Hollywood celebrities (who can't tell the difference between Von Dutch and Von Trapp) started wearing that stuff, the price of a T-shirt doubled in 6 months.

Which is why I have the "HELLA" sticker in all white. ALL CAPS, fuggin huge.. see it from miles...
it's hella sick...yo.
theres lots of reasons people get the sticker.. heres a few
1) they live in northern california and are proud of it
2) everyone else in a big lifted chevy has one and they cant look as cool without it
3) their g/f bought it for them and wont get laid unless put on the car

I can understand sporting the sticker out of state, but having any *Cal* sticker while in California makes as much sense as a *Powered by Honda* sticker on a Honda.
