Replaced rusty old brakes drum on my SF5 with ones from an SG9. Since it only took an hour, I decided to start on my DIY 04 hood scoop on my foz. Drilled all the mounting hole and installed the scoop. Picking up a splitter this weekend and then I'll start with the major cutting.

Took the car to a real shop, had them check things out and put in some of the parts the other shop didn't do in the 4 months it was there.
Good lord... Bolts up and down the subframe and elsewhere not tight enough, and another one on a control arm just about to fly off.
Speed sensor missing on a wheel, there's my ABS light problem. Diff has started to give out too - unrelated to the work prior, but, uhh, kinda good to know...
On the up and up, actually got my Whiteline top hats and front sway put on in the process. Night and day difference over stock.

Wasn't today, but a couple days ago I spent all day on struts. Installed 04 STi struts with Eibach springs (on fronts only, rears have oem STi springs) and was a pain in the *** to break loose some of the buckle hub bolts. Nevertheless, they're on and I am very happy with how they handle and where my car sits as far as clearance. Turned out that the guy who sold me the struts and springs gave me a set of Eibach springs that fit the front struts but not the backs. I'm pretty sure they're for a 02 wrx because the spring is shaped differently and they look like they'd fit my stock struts. Anyone need rear Eibach springs? haha. Here are a couple of pictures of before and after. Might not notice a huge difference in these (stock height picture taken months ago) but I sure do!

If in doubt, FLAT OUT

Steam cleaned and installed STI seats in my 05 wagon. Wife said now the fronts don't match the rears. Hmmmm guess I'll have to have the rears redone in STI colors to match.

Slippery slope right? I have the 05 black carbon weave interior. Maybe I can find someone that wants to swap STI door cards. If I redo the rears it would be a shame to kinda waste primo seats for a reupholstery. Might have to find other wagon seats and do those and then sell my original front & rears.
