Only if you have the right gas, and wire. Most places don't bother because you can TIG Stainless much easier than you can MIG it, has to do with gas and puddle control.

Had GST install my cobb DP and perrin catback on my 14' WRX hatch and attempt to tune, but due to a minor dyno software glitch I'm rescheduled for tomorrow. Running the cobb stage 2 OTS map for now.

Few days ago I Replaced brake pads (Stoptech streets) and a few stripped studs. Put stock wheels on for now as my hubcentric rings cracked... Also did oil change while at it.

Took my side skirts off to replace them with new ones and found out that I couldn't even come close to putting one side back on. Apparently every shop I've used in the last 12 years uses a different jack point. $220 for new skirts, $300 to put them on.

Went white with the BBS. Stolked with the result. Also started the body work on my wingless trunk. Sanded the dents.. Subaru paint sands of like butter with a angle grinder with the sanding pad attachment. Welded the holes from the wrx wing and started to bondo. Lots more sanding and then primer tomorrow. Thinking of doing a CF wrap or just stock blue

I'm leaning towards that I like the idea of paint better but it's so hard to match. Plus the wrap is so much cheaper!

Who welded yours and how much did they charge? On the car, or you took it off?

Finally had time to catch a breath and snap some quick picks of the dyno results on the second day.

This is a comparison between Mike's tune and the Cobb OTS Stage 2 tune. Have to admit I'm a bit curious what it would get on a Dynojet for comparison's sake, but I'm more than happy with how the car feels.

Here is the Protune by itself.

And the A/F ratios during the tune. Interesting to note that the AP hasn't reported anything richer than 11.1 since I've been driving it. I have been seeing 19-20psi on the AP as well, which seems like it should be fine.
