Yep, lift FTW. Did it at our Mazda facility.

All I gotta do is make sure a lift is free at whichever facility I have available at that time, book the time, me as the tech, not doing it during my normal business hours, and done.
I was surprised at the amount of leaves and debris already in the front fenderwells. Sierra driving brought that on.

If I hadn't had the lift I wouldn't have bothered to inspect and clean the stuff out.

New pads and rotors front and rear! Also some paint touch up on wheels. Thanks for the help PrettyM1k3!!

 

got new wheels/tires, lugnuts, whiteline bumpsteer/roll center kit and ALK



and installed a crazy exhaust haha

 

Rotella T6, P1 filter. See you in 6 months.

How'd it go run into any issues?

 

Wearing sandles while working on a clutch job? Haha risky choice

 

no big issues, working on jack stands made it a bit tough putting if back together but patience was a big help lol.

that was my friend...was there for moral support and reading out instruction from the ipad lol

Did you resurface the stock flywheel? or new one?

 

Looks like a compression/leakdown test tomorrow. Also checking the hotside of the turbo once again and the banjo bolt.

 

washed her and mounted fmic for next set of mods. had the bumper off already so i mounted the intercooler and piping into the engine bay

 

Hard wired EVERYdamnThing.

 

My windshield looks the same cept I used wire taps for my homelink mirror for the v1 and dash cam

 

Took the downpipe off to see if any oil was present. Seemed like some burnt residue in the housing. We will go with the answer of 130+k on the vf23 needs a rebuild sooner or later. Any ideas on who can?
