look up the rally armor mudflap installation guide, its a bunch of plastic rivets on the fender liner, i think. Then you just pop the piece below it off

Yeah, you can just pop off the lower portion of the fender because the fender badge is connected to it. I had to do this when installing my mudflaps. This way, you can mask off the bottom and just paint the badge.
You can also remove the badge without removing that piece of the fender. I did it this method. Take a blow dryer to the fender so you can loosen up the adhesive. Keep working it with heat until you can pull it off. Once it's off, you'll need to remove all the adhesive from the fender and the badge itself. Also, you'll need to purchase 3m double sided tape to put it back on. After I removed the badge, I plastidipped it, which came out horrible.
Then there is the super easy way.... Where you don't remove anything at all and just vinyl cf wrap it when it's on the car.
