So my friend with a JDM mr2 turbo here in San Luis Obispo was telling me that there were a lot of awesome roads in the area, so we decided to go on a drive sunday. He described it to me as a motorcycle course where the roads were perfectly paved and would bank around curves. Hearing this i didn't quite believe him, but i went out on a short drive with him anyways. It was awesome. The roads were perfectly flat and it was twisty pretty much the whole way. And since it was kinda out there, there were no commuters out there, just super bikes and exoitcs. We found the road on pashnit. http://www.pashnit.com/roads/cal/Highway229.htm. And apparently my manager at work, is very close friends with the creator of pashnit and tells me that there are a lot of really fun drives in the area. So if your in the area i highly recommend coming down for a drive.

Ah yes, 229 from 41 to 58, I've been on that road for a rally or two, it is pretty sweet!
