Well the new us hold "chevy ss" is a total piece of ****

same horsepower as old GXP, NO MANUAL, no dual clutch. What the **** is wrong with chevrolet? They should just keep their focuses on building horrible cars nobody wants in korea and the corvette. What an insane let down.

looks cool in main pic but if you look at the plain silver it looks really bad on the front end treatment.

...no manual?

So why are they calling it the "SS"???

But honestly, I'm relieved that GM brings in their full-size sport sedan back to the USA again. Though considering this is a new car, doesn't that just mean the Chevrolet Caprice PPV is GM's way of giving the remaining old RWD full-size cars to the USA?

wow, complaining about a 415 HP LS3? hell last time I checked the 2013 STI is only rated at 5 more HP than the one I bought almost 10 years ago and that doesnt seem to hurt its sales. Besides, its an LS! Making big power is easy, trust me

as for the trans, theres a 6-speed in the base model that I'm sure will make its way to the SS the second model year, chevy does weird **** like that all the time

It's just a kick to the ******* not to have a manual option, after all this time. Inexcusable.

The gm 6spd auto is a great trans for straight line performance. With their gearing they put out faster ets down the 1/4m with trap speeds almost matching the 6mt. (Im all over the Corvette,ls1,ls3 forums)... but iam sad it lacks the manual as thats what i would buy too

I'm still trying to read the title of this thread. Something about us holding a Chevy?

5 HP is a lot. u'd need like 10+ decals just to achieve the same results...

I sure hope so. Seems GM has been selling the Caprice PPV since 2011 and I think using this newer-chassis of the Zeta platform would make GM's fleet offerings more fresh.
