hmm, i thought i was going to be one of the only indifferent dudes on this series.....looks like i was way wrong on that one.

anyways, i watched less than a half total (that's 2 qtrs) of this series, and none of yesterday's clincher for the Heat (totally forgot about it). i'll give them props though....didn't think they would even make it this far cuz Shaq wasn't looking too spry going into the Finals. He still didn't tear things up but had a couple of solid games judging from the box scores & recaps. Wade was doing his thing, and, while I'm not a fan, I gotta admit, young fella has come along REAL fast.....even w/out winning this title, I like his game even more than Lebron's. I'm not saying he's better, but dude is real exciting and has a lot of heart.

In any case, hats off to Zo, Haslem, GP, and even J-Will for stepping up their games and making some valuable contributions. I'm happy for all of them. Those guys are scrappers...even tho Zo & GP like to shoot their yap a bit.

and, just a little advice to Cuban & the Mavs.........spend the offseason getting a defense (& making Nowitzki finally play some). Not to fall back on a cliche, but DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.....one of the reasons why the Suns didn't get there either.

Mavs have an above average defense. It's not in the same caliber as the Spurs or Pistons, but Avery Johnson does stress defense a lot and they've improved. It's just that Wade's a damn miracle worker and the past 3 games, the Mavs played like they're shook.

He is no doubt, but I can't say I wouldn't be much different if I were in his shoes. He's like a kid that has the best toy in the world and he plays with it constantly. It must be fun to have that kind of capital. Shrugging off 250k fines and what not.

Either way you look at it though since he took ownership of the Mavs they have been a better team, and the people on the team love to play for him. Can't ask much more than that from an owner.

Mark Cuban is living every internet fantasy sports nerd's dream. Hahaha. "Hey Milwaukee, we'll trade you Maurice Taylor for that German guy, Dirk was it?"

You are absolutely right sir. Their defense was damn good in the regular season and damn good in the playoffs up until the last three games, and that has more to do with Miami than their defense. And this is just their first year with Avery Johnson so a few more years under his system and they are gonna be a great team. They are going to be right at the top of the west for a while.

The article was good

But if you watch the games D-wade takes the ball to the hole like 35 times a game

Dirk is great but he doesnt go to the hole he gets discouraged when shaq is doubling down and zo is there and posey and haslem are tripling and doubling wade should get those fouls he has three people on him he splits them and goes to the hole whether hes doing it on purpose going wrecklessly or not is not the point, the contact below the restricted zone is usually illegal contact and therefore a foul thats why he goes there watch game 6 Dallas did not go to the basket almost the entire second half

and D-Wade did not get every call

I'm sure the Mailman is wishing he followed Shaq and GP to the Heat... damn.
