the story is that these guys were outside arguing and one got hit so they went inside the restaurant to grab a chair and owner said they had to pay $20. the guys said no and the owner got angry, they started to walk out with the chair anyways and a customer stood up for the restaurant owner....the customer was the first one who got a beating.
i know this because it was my friends taping and narrating, errr i was supposed to be there too glad i didnt go
i know this because it was my friends taping and narrating, errr i was supposed to be there too glad i didnt go

thats mad gangsterish yoo............................................... ..if you live in a world full of sandy vaginas that is.
Paul-Koreans are called that too? not just Charlie's? thanks for educating me.
I thought i'd better add the above is all in good fun.
That's riiiiiight, imma find these fools and set em straight. j/p. I love this restaurant, good cheap food. Man my boys and I woulda backed the two guys up. No offense to viet people out there because i'm chinese/viet, but i HATE and I reiterate HATE these kind of vietnamese people or any pack of wanna thugs mobbin on people. I seen a pack of similar guys beatin som e girls up in downtown sj, right before i pulled over with my boys they all ran off, woulda loved to smash of some wife beaters.
i am surprised no one has bought it up...but well, when i used to run my own business back east, i have seen a few fights brewing or get started in the parking lot...and i would say where my place was a helluva lot more ghetto than milpitas and ulferts lol...guns are sorta expected...
and as a business owner...if you are smart, the first thing you do, when you see basically a bunch of guys start talking, or shoving...you dial 911...thats it, plain and simple.
with how many milpitas cops there are in the general macarthy ranch area, it would have taken them less than 5 mins, most likely way less, to arrive on the scene. and either stop thewhole thing before it began, or at least caught the guys right after.
so to me, part of hte blame should go on the owner of mien su cun...for:
1. not calling the cops right away when the first shouting matches started and things started to go out of hand (whcih i would imagine happend a abit even before the video started).
2. instilling his asian sense of bargaining by asking for 20 dollars for hte chair (if that is a confirmed fact btw)...i mean...being asian myself and acutally lived in china for half my life, i know that is not surprising, but seriously, saying ANYTHING that MAY agitate an already angry mob is just plain stupid. I mean, if i were there, sitting at a table, and those dudes come and tell me to move so they can grab the chair i am sitting on to go beat someone, and i am about twice the size of those guys, i aint gonna be like "sure but you better pay me for my meal's price since i cant eat no more..lol" thats just stupid.
3. for just not locking the front door ofhis resturant as soon as the shoving started out side. as the owner of the place, he has a responsiblity to protect the other patrons and workers inside of his establishment, and just doing nothing while the crap brewed outside was irresponsible.
4. and once again, for not calling the cops at ANY time during htat video, i did not hear him even say, someone call the cops in either english or chinese at any juncture, even when they came in and start to fight in the shop, no screams of 911...etc...in my experience with these situations, a lot of times, a random scream of "its the COPS!" or "someone call 911!!" can get the crowd to disperse quickly...doesnt evne matter if it was true or not.
anyway, i agree with the beating of the single guy was pretty ****ty, but when a grew of guys goin into a mob mentality rage like this, no ones thinking clearly, you are just fueld by rage, and this was worse cause all the rage they built up wtih the previous confrontation got all dumped onto that one guy...
but to me, the one guy who clearly should bare some responsiblity here is the owner of hte store (and owners of any other buisness who were open at that time who are in closer proximity to a lesser extent)...and IMO he should at least offer, if not pay, part of that guys medical expenses if the dudes who beat him up never gets caught. even though i have a sickening feeling that he could end up blaming that dude for standing up for him for cuasing all that damage to that resturant, i hope that wont be the case, but i wouldnt be suprised knowing some chinese buisness people...sigh
b
p.s. dang it was a chinese kitchen, where were the cleavers at? lol

Quoted for truth. Especially the part about cleavers

true that on the cleavers...
wouldnt it been classic if this was what really happened?
thugs: give us a ****in chair so we can beat them up
owner: okay, but that will be 20 dolla per chair mang
thugs: **** no, 5 dolla!
owner: 18 dolla!
thugs: 7 dolla!
the guy who eventually gets ****ed up: i will buy a chair for TEN dolla!! (thinking he can furnish his dining room on the cheap at this rate)
owner: see? he willing to pay 10 dolla, you pay 11 dolla per chair if you want to use!
thugs: fine fine 11 dolla!
the guy who eventually gets ****ed up: TWELVE dolla!!
at this point you see the camera pan over and the guys gets beat up wtih a chair...
it could have gone down this way no?

Unfortunately, whitey couldn't think up of two different derogatory terms for Koreans and Vietnamese, so they're both gooks. It's because the Korean and Vietnam Wars weren't that many years apart.
Just ask John McCain, he lived in Vietnam for quite a number of years...
In 2000, Sen. John McCain told reporters, "I hated the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live."

SPECIAL TO THE POST-INTELLIGENCER
On his campaign bus recently, Sen. John McCain told reporters, "I hated the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live." Although McCain said he was referring only to his prison guards, there are many reasons why his use of the word "gook" is offensive and alarming.
