Warriors FTMFW biznatches!!! What an amazing season! One of the best parts, IMHO, is that they won it while the Warriors are still in Oakland. Having grown up in the biggety biggety O, it makes me feel good to know that the east bay heads got one before they pulled ship and headed across the bay.
Even funnier...I'm headed to Ohio tomorrow morning to visit the inlaws. Should be an even better trip now!

I STILL can't believe it. Totally don't know how to feel.
Finally! Congrats to the Warriors for winning it all. Here's to hoping they keep this core together for the next couple of years. Looking forward to next season already.
Go Dubs!
Go Dubs!
Iggy became the x-factor.
-I heard some Warriors players on the press conferences state "Pro of pros" and really that's what he exemplified.
-Asked to sit instead of starting when on any other team he's a starter if not a star; doesn't ***** about it.
-EARNS the start in the finals because he was playing the best even coming off the bench. -When he got his shot he showed himself as a vet and didn't shy at the moment.
-Defended against Lebron, best in the game as of this moment.
-Scored on offense when he wasn't asked to ALL year, came up with 20+pt games, attacked the rim dunkin', hitting 3's, adjusted and hit mid range jumpers.
-11 Years and finally gets a shot, must be good because some will never get to the promise land (Carmelo? Allen Iverson?)
-Although Curry did lead the team and kept everyone on track, I like the fact that the NBA strayed off the typical course and gave the MVP to Iggy. Curry already got league's MVP, glad to share the wealth. Iggy doesn't even care, he just wanted the NBA Championship (as many do like Frank Gore of the 49ers)
-Barbosa although at times looks terrible, really showed energy on defense and on offense. Also hit some big 3's and drove to the basket, must be fun being him also.
-My jump out of the coach moment was Ezeli's 2nd chance dunk and the foul!

Oracle was going crazy last night. What an amazing season and it's so nice to say that my favorite team from my favorite sport won the championship! It's such a weird feeling because usually I'm on the outside looking in. I'd have my favorite to win the finals but it was never MY team in it. I feel so spoiled having not tasted really much of any defeat this season.
Now the wait until October. I hope David Lee lands in a spot where he can thrive and we're definitely going to resign Green. Coaching staff needs to get together and figure out how to bring out the full potential of Barnes' still untouched raw abilities.

Wow, it has barely been a day after the championship, and the Warriors are wasting no time in trying to get rid of David Lee. For crying out loud, can these guys at the very least, wait till after the parade to do this?
David Lee likely won't return to Golden State Warriors -- Sources
According to the article, this was planned and makes sense. If they can make a deal before the draft, that would be ideal.

I agree with what you're saying because David Lee was one of my favs but trades are a time sensitive thing. If a certain team wants DLee and he's cool to go there and they had the assets to acquire him but end up using those assets on something else because Warriors weren't making him available that would have been all bad. I'm sure they're not going to trade him until after the parade tho for sure.

I'll be going with my 4yr old Curry loving daughter. I think I can hit BART in UC by about 8am, and then try to watch from near Lake Merritt.
