Well regardless, still think it's way too early to attempt trading him when he hasn't even had time to enjoy a championship parade yet. He was also the Warrior's game changer for Game 4, giving them the momentum the rest of the way. Lee's been a classy guy, never complained, and all the Warriors organization is trying to do is get rid of him as soon as possible. Just let him enjoy the next few days is all I'm trying to say. It's not as if every team is lining out the door to employ Lee's services, or that they'll get more than a bag of chips for trading him.

But what's more important to him, staying on a championship team with drastically reduced minutes that will contend for another title next season, or going to another team just to get playing time?
The writing was on the wall a long time ago, when Draymond took over his position as starter early in the season. This was probably when they were looking to trade him, and Lee probably agreed with it. But there were either no takers, or Warriors were asking for too much.
My guess is Lee wouldn't mind riding the bench with the Warriors for another season, but the Warriors management do mind, because he's eating up $16m in cap space, and they need to use that money to sign Draymond. So while the articles say it's a "mutual" parting, I'm guessing the Warriors were politely urging Lee to agree to an amenable trade, rather than the Warriors forcing his hand and sending him to a less than desirable location.

Anyone manage to get their dad (or receive) a W's championship hat for Father's Day? I waited too long and couldn't find one, ended up getting him some W's t-shirts and ordering him a hat.

My wife has been working in Oakland on certain days and Friday happened to be one of those days. Her office building is right at the start of the parade route. Sucked to get in, but they had a full spread of breakfast and large windows to view the parade from.
