Daniel...I own the Glock 26, along w/ 4 other glocks myself, and honestly its my favorite out of my glocks (I got a set of MMC night sights on it as well, well worth the extra $350 for those night sights).

As someone mentioned above, get a S&W 500 magnum.
Spitting out a 330gr bullet @ 1680 ft/s === 2067 ft-lbs !!!
Almost as much energy as a 30.06.
Rick has a 500 w/ a 4" port barrel.
Shooting at cars (he's a cop), the rounds remove parts from the cars.
Here's a polar bear that was shot in the neck with a 440gr cast bullet.
Bullet traveled 80cm through the bear, almots exiting out the leg.
