Hey everyone,
since i started driving so much i've been trying to sell the wagon ( most of you have probably seen). i'd rather sell it than put a ridiculous amount of miles on it, so ive been wondering if i should put it back to stock? anyone know how much Speed Element or GST or AutoHQ charge for putting stuff back to stock? i really should do it myself but i have no time whatsoever, i'm rarely home and working 65+ hours a week. think its worth it? just wanted to see what the consensus is, it kills me to do this, but work is work. thanks everyone!

What kind of mods are you talking about here? Do you have extensive mods - like built engine and excessive bolt ons. If that is so, get a daily driver so you can maintain life of those extensive mods. If you are talking about simple bolt ons like turbo, exhuast, and suspension - I say just drive it and enjoy as it meant to be.

do you have another car that you daily drive? if so, i suggest slowly putting all the stock parts back on. this way you gain a bit of cash back from the mods while still being able to sell your car for a great price.

theyre pretty much just all bolt ons. i havent had any luck selling it with all of the mods so i just want to part it out and sell everything, it'll take more time and more work but at least i'll get the ball rolling. i dont have a dd , the suby IS my dd, hahah, but i put on 3k miles within the last 3 weeks so yeah, thats not the greatest for me, its low miles too so i dont want to ruin the value by stacking on the miles to it.

It's not like it's a show car right?
It's different story if it's a show car. Or if you want to comply with CARB.
OK. Do as I do. Drive it until it dies. Enjoy that car and don't worry about how much miles you are stacking up. EJ20 should last many miles 150K+ even with simple bolt ons. You probably wouldn't get too much $ out of those aftermarket parts in this economy- especially if you pay someone to do all those labor. Suby is meant to be driven hard. Don't baby it too much.

i have an 02 with 78k on the clock now, i had 75k on it 3 weeks ago! my plans were to drive it , make it pretty and sell it. i love the car to death, but its pretty bad on gas ( 750cc's) and with me driving that much i hate to see it dirty all the time. i had hopes of selling it and getting something thats still fun to drive but i wouldn't care about, like a civic si or something but i dunno. from the looks of it i'll be keeping it since no ones interested in it really. i'll just suck it up and enjoy it for what its worth, i get to write off my gas anyway
