if you're collecting them,
YOU MUST HAVE at least ONE desert eagle, and a magnum revolver.
my uncle is a collector, and thats what he told me.
every collectors must have at least on of the two

Even though I paid all of $100 for it back in '94, def one ofmy favs. Picked this up when I was collecting alot of eastern block pieces, Theres a long german word for "So ugly its beautiful", cant rememeber it right now but this gun sums it up, and I think thats what I liked about eastern block guns in general (and why I like the WRX too!
)for as heavy as it is, its very 'pointable', probably becasue the majority of the weight is over your hand and not over the barrel, and dead accurate, at least mine was. only prob was availability of ammo, so we loaded alot of it ourselves using .30 carbine 110gr. loaded then damn near as hot as .30 carbines too, the gun is a tank though and would take it all day, but damn were those scurry to shoot!

The Glock 36 is a good gun. Very accurate for it's size. The down side is that the .45 ACP loses alot of velocity out of the short barrel. I would stuff it with 185 or 200 gr +P loads.
As for the FN 57. Cool pistol, but out of the pistol length barrel, it's just like a .22 magnum ballisticly. And the store bought / civilian leagal ammo does not have the armor piercing capability like the Gov/LE only loads.
The CZ 52 is a great gun too, and it's pretty cheap to buy. The good Czech ammo makes the gun awesome for penetration. Hell, Carlos the Jackal used one to wack a French policeman with body armor.
How about buying a Sig 210?
What is the purpose for your new pistol?
How much do you want to spend?
