Video editing software

I've seen some videos and movies posted here. What software do you guys use?

There's a bunch of good ones. If your just looking for a basic editing program just use windows movie maker or iMovie on OSX they are decent at just having transitions and such. I really like apple final cut pro, and final cut express is fairly cheap and does most of what final cut pro will do. In the Army we used AVID, but that is very expensive, but very good professional editing program.

Final Cut Pro on my Mac or Adobe Premier on my PC laptop for me.

If you have a mac, final cut express is good enough.

thanks all, wish I had a Mac. One concern that I had with Adobe Premiere is compatibility with AVCHD. I'm not sure exactly what the issues are but I've read it from a few sources.
