unofficial 2008-2009 WARRIORS season thread....
i really dont think that the warriors should trade for another 4, id rather give the young guys more playing time so they grow and become ready. definately shop around for a solid PG plus something else

It's okay. Season's young. At least the Dubs held on for that long. Maggette really helped. I knew Money Maggette drawing that insane amount free throws per game would help.
im surprised nellie had only 7 men rotation -- none of the young guys played.
demacus nelson made some terrible decisions through out the game..and a almost costly turnover down the stretch.
nellie ball w/o baron running the show is going to get some time to get use to...it was weird seeing either Turiaf/Biedrinch brining up the ball and calling plays.

just got thru watching my tivo of the game.....tough loss for the w's, but hats off to them for a very gritty effort. they played the hornets a lot better than i anticipated and should be pretty proud, despite the final score.
demarcus actually impressed me the most. granted, he did have a few turnovers and almost had that costly one at the end, but overall, he played pretty well, esp on D. he played with a lot of heart and looked decent distributing the rock. he's definitely not as good offensively at baron, but that might actually be a blessing cuz his shot selection should be a lil better (i.e. less long range bombs) of course his J needs a lot of work tho.
the rest of the squad was decent. capt jack's shot was pretty hot, and he played decent D, but there's no way he can keep playing 48 mins/game. he clearly ran outa gas cuz his last few shots were way off+wild, and he couldn't contain his men. they need someone else to give him some relief or he'll burn out like the end of last season. biedrins was solid and al was hitting early on but just couldn't hit that trey to tie. weirdest thing was seeing ronny in a diff uniform. i'm happy w/the lake show's squad, but we'll really miss his energy+enthusiasm. he's a true warrior <no pun intended> w's are lucky to have him

it was a heart-breaking loss, the arena was nuts...reminded me of the playoffs...but things look good for this season...person i was impressed most with was azubuike...aggressive and he shut down peja pretty good after demarcus couldnt match up those first few minutes....
we get monta back and start rotating in marco and AR (whom i want to see play, although i doubt it as a rookie), and i think we got a chance of possibly taking 8th seed...
