w's got lucky when KB cut his finger on the rim while swatting Maggette's lay-up. he was going into KB-MVP mode.

W's are gonna live or die by the 3. they're too small to match up inside.

EDIT: dangit, sloppy pass by the Lake Show!

GO LAKERS!!!!!!

w's gave a good effort, but like nellie said, "you can't just play 3 good qtrs and expect to beat the best team in th L. it takes 4 qtrs."

they shot well for 3 qtrs, but couldn't expect to continue all game long. they're just too small and inexperienced too. randolph had some flashes. if he stays, he can be pretty good w/some hard work.

not to be a downer, but i don't think Monta will ever be the same/get back his quickness+explosiveness.

props to the entire Lake Show for a decent game....not their finest, but we got the job done. sure glad KB-MVP is on our side!

GO LAKERS!!!!!!

trade deadline ended at 3pm ET. surprise, surprise, "Warriors" did zip.....NADA. these guys really deserve what they're getting.

oh well, i guess Oracle will become Staples Center North soon. good to see so many other Lake Show fans up here.....bandwagoners or not.

warriors front office believes they have a great team when everyone is healthy, there's always the offseason for trades i guess, particularly the bosh trade that was on the table quoted from steven A smith

w/all due respect, the w's front office hasn't had the slightest clue about what to do for.....since the Run TMC days. the first transaction they need(ed) to make is ship all those front office clowns outa there.....Rowell included. i feel sorry for Mullin, but he's part of the mess too. he's been a dead man walking the whole season anyways.

and another one of the organization's many problems is that there have been too many "there's always the offseasons." they're the early offseason Hall of Famers!

again, not getting on you or your comments specifically....just venting cuz it's so dang frustrating watching these guys repeatedly fall on their faces.

enough, of the........."when/if everyone's healthy.........when/IF players A,B,C,L,M,N,O,Z all reach their potential, we can be good??" talk.

the "Warriors" will never be good, let alone even able to dream of being great, until they get some true WARRIORS in their front office and skybox.
greatness comes from the top down.

close game vs the Thunder right now, but OKC is holding their own dunk contest at the expense of the W's. Durant threw down a NASTY two hander in Randolph's grill, and Westbrook RAMBOWNED Belinelli w/a one handed alley oop off the glass from Watson!

EDIT: dang, Westbrook almost got them another one on tonight's Sportscenter Top 10. lucky my dude, Ronny, was protecting the cup and just got a piece of the ball!

the shootout at Oracle continues.....106-96 W's less than 2 mins into the 4th!? OKC has all the highlight plays, but W's have played a decent game. Maggette is really filling the bucket & cleaning the glass. for the Thunder, Westbrook is seriously balling w/27+14 assists.

like Barnett said, first one to play some defense wins! lol

nice win by the W's....not much D from either side, but they won the scoring contest. props to capt jack & mags for good all around games. randolph made some more youthful errors, but he was decent on the boards and had some impressive buckets down low.

man, i pray for these guys to get it together again some day.....hopefully sooner rather than later and before i hit early bird specials age! lol

slow newsday w/both the W's & Lake Show on break, but there's a pretty good article by Matt Steinmetz in the Examiner/on their site, www.SFgate.com about the W's need for a true PG/field general. i'm posting from my phone, so can't put up the link. it's currently on the main page tho.

don't see it on the site...

but I saw an article saying Nelson's going to start giving heavier minutes to the newbies, especially at the guard position. Crawford's going to have a day off against Charlotte. Ellis is out for 1-2 weeks.

W's ran out of O at the O-rena today......losing the chuckfest vs Snaq+the Suns. good Lord, they gave up 149 pts!? man, i might have to start rooting for the Queens soon! lol

on a brighter note, Randolph had another decent game. i still don't get how everyone is comparing him to Lamar Odom tho. the kid does have a lota raw talent, but he can not shoot or have a real go to move on the block. he gets all his buckets on putbacks and on the break. he's not nearly the passer Odom was coming outa college either. but he's still the youngest player in the L and has a lota time to get better.
