I had brown winning. But I like Lawler and it was close so I'm not to upset about the decision. Brown should be considered for another contender fight soon.

JBJ is a *****. Dude has no concept of professionalism or what it takes to be a real champ. The weigh in before theirs was dope. Up close. Pissed. No one touched. Walked away.

This one. He walks right up and puts his face on Courmier. He knew damned well what was coming.

This is the fight he wanted because it plays HEAVILY in his favor. I just hope this doesn't make Courmier do anything stupid. I hope he stays smart and gets JBJ to over commit and make a mistake.

JBJ knows everyone expects him to win. A violent knock out is the only way he gains anything from this fight.

I can't stand the dude. I can't wait for guys to start smashing him.

Agree... Just so hard to root against Lawler cuz he been doing it for so long and he has made so many improvements to his game. I thought he beat Hendrix the first fight. He had success with that liver kick he should've used it more against Browns weak core, cuz Brown wasn't going down on any of those headshots....mans a beast

I'm surprised he didn't considering Brown's last fight.

HOLY CRAP!

I just now got around to watching Sat night's Fight Night, and Tim Boetsch is unreal! Just like against Yushin, he pulls out a miraculous KO after getting handled by Tavares up until his come-from-behind striking combo.

Really surprised the judges gave the belt to Lawler. Usually they tend to favor the champion when it's a close fight. I thought Lawler won 1st and 5th rounds and Hendricks 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds.

Also surprised Hendricks was milking the clock to get a decision win. Anyways, was rooting for Lawler the whole way, but was surprised at the outcome. Guess a rematch is already in the cards

I agree whoever had its 49-46 is on something. I had Lawler winning rounds 1,4 and 5. Hendricks went into not lose mode near the end of round 4 and it cost him. Also, maybe Chael was right about Hendricks arriving at the weigh in in a wheel chair and Hendricks just gassed out.

I'm not. Lawler should have won the last one. This one was close enough that not giving it to him would have been ridiculous.

Lawler clearly wants it more.

I think he won it 3/2. The one judge was on crack.

I think that they need to institute another judge. If one is WAY off from the others then they should look at the other judges score.

I also think there should be a review system in place. If your scores are way off like that it should be reviewed. Happens enough times you get suspended. Etc.

All I know is I'm stoked to see both Diaz brother fighting. Win loose or draw I think it's good for the UFC.

UFC is a freakin joke at this point.

Jones take an illegal drug... illegal EVERYWHERE. Bounces from rehab and he gets hit with a $25k fine? LOL! He made $500k just from the fight he failed a drug test for. I hope he looses ALL of his sponsors.

Nick Diaz got suspended for ONE YEAR for weed. That's 2-4 fights. Lost rank. And had to give up 30% of his purse. ETc. And weed is legal in california... and he has card!

Herman got 6 months for weed.

Healy got hit for $135k and it cost him a win that changed his career path for good.

Jessica Eye got stripped of a win. Got a 1 year suspension and got hit with a fine.

Are you seeing what's happening here? If Dana likes you and feels he needs you he'll do whatever he can to keep you from loosing and he'll help you end the rules.

Sorry but this is bull****. JBJ should be hit with a 1 year suspension. Get hit with a loss. And loose at least 25% of his fight money... if not all of it.

horse****.

I have zero interest in ever watching JBJ fight at this point. Dude's a straight punk.

He should be stripped of the title, fined, and suspended. Like I mentioned in the PacVMay thread, Jones' stock is so great that Dana and the Fertita bros willing to bend the rules for him.
