That fight against Hendo vs Sho was crazy. Hendo towards the last 2 rounds had ran out of gas, but enough to win and get victory. Both fighters showed a lot of heart in the octogon. One of the best fights I've seen in a long time.

 

Didn't see the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the Rua/Hendo match. Had to take a dump

I called it a draw too but oh well. Power of the TRT and what a ****ing war. Hands down one of the best fights Ive had the pleasure of viewing. That said, I'm baffled at why Shogun didnt go for Hendos legs in the earlier rounds. Even Joe kept saying it. I was literally sceaming at the TV the whole time.

 

Perhaps Shogun considered it too risky considering Hendo's takedowns and overhand right. My 2 cents.

I scored rounds 1 & 2 10-9 hendo.. 3rd 10-8.......rua 10-9 round 4.... Finally 10-8 5th round...

 

Yes... I agree with yah.. Even myself when sparring and opponent throws a kick I always have it in the back of my mind to go for the single/double leg take down ... Another thing i believe Rua did wrong was tying up against the cage... Trying to Grecco wrestle an Olympian...Wtf... Rua's chance of winning would be by improving his hands.. Hendo if real open when he throws that big right hand... Upper cut to a hook...

On another note... I hope Cung comes back.. Rematch would be nice. All that time away from mma making movies showed on his soft uncut body.. Still cardio problems... The man needs to work his cardio and listen to his corner. When your told not to stand infront of Wandy LISTEN! that's why those knees destroyed you face! Move to the sides! Its a common sense!

considering that his face was the ending point of hendos overhand right anyway, thats a **** poor cop out. anyway it was a tie in my eyes because hendo didnt have a 10-8 round and some of the past ufc scoring proves it shouldve been. im too drunk right now to follow up on my claims but i can tommo0row morning.
