What would a bent rear axle and or broken rear axle do to an all wheel drive car?

When i slightly apply the e-brake it clunks hard if you hold the sturt while car is on a rack...?

This is from an accident insurance fixed but the tires are wearing funny and the car steers like crap?

How do you know if an axle is bent/broken?

:This wasn't racing or anything the car was hit in the corner taking out the strut and everything connected they never replaced the axle though..:

 

CV joints possibly?
