fuel problem troubleshooting

In an attempt to troubleshoot why my IDCs are so high (but I'm able to see at or near my target AFRs), I want to trace my fuel lines to ensure there are no crimps or clogs. Do I need to actually trace from the tank to the rails? Also, what are the odds that installing my stock fuel pump filter might have caused the problem?

I think, after talking to TXS this morning that it has to be either of those two problems...my gut feeling says software, though.

The screen or filter (is the REAL fuel filter up near the FPR?) on the fuel pump is my old stock one. It's longer and it was quite a bit cleaner. I wouldn've have ever gotten it on had it not been for Chibby. The little inverted star washer that holds it on might be getting a little weak by now.

I have no real idea when I can get free to linkup with you, but if I'm free tonight, I'll give you a call. Any chance you might be able to come up here?

I'm going to Schuman right now to have them check out some stuff. Then I don't know what's going on.

do you have a fuel pressure gage? i believe there are affordable mechanical gages that you can just T into your fuel line to check your fuel pressure.

No, but that's high on my priorities right now.

Checkers didn't have one. Anyplace else (that might be near to Wahiawa)?
