Angry UPS Sucks

I really hate UPS and their drivers. I was supposed togget a package today which I need for sunday and they have not yet drlivered it is 8:30 pm. I called UPS 3 times and I was told that they don't know where is the driver etc.. This is BS. I have decided to stop using the sellers who use UPS. I am also planning to start a website to make sure that the UPS management knows their service.

Sorry i needed to vent my anger.

eh, dont feel bad, i know some people that work for UPS that say the same thing . Thats pretty bad that they dont know were the driver is considering they use traking orders to tell you what truck it was placed on and the intended rout in which the driver will be heading. Thats what UPS permotes, so if there not able to tell you were your package is right now, your in trouble .

There's a UPS station like a 3 minute drive from my house, so once I know it's there, I just pick it up at the station. FEDEx is only 10 minutes from my house too.

Sorry i needed to vent my anger.

Before, I delivered to residents at like 9 pm But this was during christmas season...

But anyways, the locations of drivers are unknown for the most part, until they actually deliver a package and press the stop/complete button on the DIAD board (the handheld computer). Once it's pressed, it automatically uploads the information on where the driver is (or basically where he/she just delivered to).

If they want to find out where the driver is, all they do is "text message" them through the DIAD, and that's how they report in. But I assume customer service associates don't have the authorita to do that unless they report to the station manager/supervisor of the drivers.

Best bet is to have them hold the package tomorrow and try and pick it up at the station if they're open.

UPS rescheduled one of my packages to the next day [today] but it came around 12pm, it usually gets in around 4-ish.

door bell rings. i run to the door. i open the door and look at the door mat to see case sitting there. and i hear the brown van zooming off...

maybe they forgot to add the adult sig required on the diad board. Or the guy signed it for u I had that happen when I ordered some oil filters and they were sent via DHL. I expressly put as a request, signature required. I expected him to arrive on a certain day, so I opened the door. He gave me the package and left. I asked him "Don't I need to sign it?" He said "No need, I'll do it for you"

btw for everyone's info, if u guys ever order Omaha steaks online (they're packed in dry ice or something), the drivers are required to leave it in front of your doorstep even if nobody's there, or if it is in plain view for all passerbys to see. Just giving you guys a heads up

I had that same problem while I was outta state over Christmas break a few months back.. I bought a catless downpipe over ebay and after it was shipped from the store and in ups hands I called ups and requested that they hold it at their factory for a few extra days until I got back. So I didn't think much of it until an email was sent to me and stated that my package had been delivered to my house..WTF?? Not only was it not supposed to be there at that time, there was supposed to be a purchaser signature required on delivery!! So the last few days of my vacation were pretty much spent pulling out my hair and calling around asking people to stop by my house to see if they could find a package on the doorstep or anywhere for that matter! No package. As soon as I got home and took a look around myself, and upon not finding anything, I was ready to march down to that ups factory myself and vent my anger. But luckily my neighbor stopped by (just as I was walking out the door)with the box in hand. They said they had seen an odd shaped box stashed in the bushes outside of our house (and it obviously wasn't stashed that well or else my neighbors wouldn't have been able to see it from the road) and, knowing that we were not home that week, picked it up so it wouldn't get swiped. The signature on the box?..the ups driver.

Speaking of UPS, the UPS store near me is a freaking rip-off. The guy tries to charge me 23 bucks to ship a small package(ground), so I went to the post office and sent it 2 day Priority Mail for 11 bucks! So much for counter rate.

Rude UPS driver and the supervisor that covers for him!

Apparently, if you're a UPS driver, you can even threaten customers with physical violence--and UPS, at least, will do nothing.

Someone in my house got a delivery. Evidently improper handling of the driver's pen is enough to get a threat of physical violence. Call the depot and the supervisor says "Call the police. I'm still not taking this driver off the route you're on." Next time, we'll take smart-*** supervisor up on his offer!

There have been other deliveries since then. I guess we should be grateful. This wise guy is limiting himself to nasty comments.

If it wasn't for this driver I never would have understood the DHL commercials.

You think that's bad? When I got my pistol back from HK, it was sitting in front of my house too, right on the damn doormat. $800 gun. Just sitting there for anyone to walk up and take. Idiots.
