tranny/diff oil question

Good luck finding oem tranny fluid, I think its impossible to locate, and dealers use different stuff from dealership to dealership. 80w90 will work fine as it fits in the 75w-90 range

On my next change I'm going to put 1qt. Synchromesh, 1qt. Redline heavy duty shockproof and fill the rest with Mobil 1 75w90.

Rear diff will probably just get the Mobil 1 75w90... not a mix of stuff.

EVERYONE should get a tranny and rear diff service at LIC with the blue 80W stuff.

It feel slighter than the 75w-90 Mobil I'd been using for years. It make the synchro gear grinding go away right away on my 160,000+ mile transmission.

Call them, and get setup asap. I couldn't believe the difference.

i think ive decided on what i want.
1 qt of synchromesh with valvoline high proformance gear oil. and valvoline high pro in the rear diff. thanks for everybodys help. now i just need to find the time to do this.
