wow come back from work and theres picks of my Grandmas old T-bird in this thread? So much for trying to keep this thread from de-railing completely lol

thats nice I guess, heres the paddle shifters on an Accord from 3 years ago. Having paddle shift for automatics is pretty much standard nowadays.

I am just going to talk about toyota performance from here on out.
1. Is this a performance car?
2. Is this a toyota?
ISF 0-60 4.2 seconds.
skid pad 0.93g
1. with those numbers yes (it does not beat other cars but it is in the same neighborhood)
2. yes
LFA do we really need to see numbers? we know its fast.
1. yes
2. yes
Can we get a definition of a sports/performance car? I think this maybe the problem.
Is the WRX a performance car?

Okay all you little hobbits, we've trudged through Mordor now lets bring this thread back to the shire again.
here we go, how about a pic of the FRS and our own Impreza for a size comparison, yeah its going to be small!

pretty much an exact match with an S2k, so yeah it must be even smaller than it looks in the pics.

People are confusing sports car with high horsepower car. Sports car were never traditionally known for their high horsepower, but their agile handling etc. point being sports car doesn't mean the fastest in a straight line.
Krinkov thanks for the pics and the info on the AT impreza

EDIT: OH CRAP!!! I barely fit in the S2K with the top down

The car looks small, the Subaru looks better then the Toyota from the pictures I have seen. How about that LFA? you here about Kyle Bush test driving the LFA for Toyota, got caught doing 128mph in a 45mph zone!

pretty sure we havent seen the Subaru version yet. The pics from auto shows have all been the Scion FR-S, the Subaru one isnt supposed to be out till late next year, and I'm sure it will be called something different as well.
