A false apex is when you steer to the inside of an apex but know that the car will end up somewhere else. In the case of the WRX the car will push a little and end up slightly behind where you're pointing the wheels. When the car starts to get away from me I correct my direction with left foot braking. If you're starting out I wouldn't worry about left foot braking though. It's too much to worry about this early on in the game. As a novice there's other places where you can pick up a lot of time that doesn't require a fraction of the practice that it takes to learn left foot braking.
Start chanting "slow in, fast out" (and would the peanut gallery please shut up already :-)
Cheers, Joe

Thanks Joe....I'll check out those places. Looks like it's gonna be a little over $100 for a "very good / pro" lense in my format (49mm threaded boss on the front of the camera). Since 90% of what I use the camcorder for is in-car taping while racing, I'll spend the $$$ to do this one right
BTW Joe, your in-car comments had me rolling
Martin : looks like my ROD.com e-mail is hosed right now, can you send the higher resolution "94 STX" pic to my other e-mail of
ed@runnion.net
Thanks!
