Have you talked to vince lately? Dude does ONE car a day. Apt only. Next apt is at least a month away. And unless you're a baller or have the money to pay for the quality... yeah. He's up to $500 these days and pushes ceramic which is even more.
Get what you pay for but I couldn't wait and wasn't gonna pay double.

Yeah. My wife's forester was gonna be over $500 and I would have had to wait 5 weeks.
I went to another place the same day and paid about half. Is it as good as what Vince would do... nope. But it's decent film, it's guaranteed and it looks good.
Vince is probably the best installer I've seen in person. His edges are filed so you can't even tell there is tint on the windows (except by color of course). Most places you computer cut templates that leave a little gap around the edges. That's how mine are. With the windows up it looks killer. The windows down you can see it but it's not big enough to bother me.... and it's my wife's car. LOL.
When I had Vince do my wagon it cost me $185 for every window and it came out INSANE. If his prices were even close to that I would have had him do the forester and would have him redo my wagon... it's hammered. Even at $300-350 I wouldna done it. Plus... it's an all day affair. If you have to sit there and wait I'd advise bringing a computer or a book because you'll be there a while. Just go read the recent yelp reviews (and my own personal experience).
So I'm not ******* Vince at all. If you have the time, patience and the money he's the way to go. I had none of those 3.

When I went to Vince (both times) his appointments were only 2 weeks out. Back when I got my tint originally done in January '10 and when I went back in August '11. In January I got full tint done and it did take a while. I think I was there something like 5 hours. And I paid $285. In August I went in to get the tint removed from the fronts. I was there for maybe 1.5 hours. Paid $60.
Both experiences were great IMO. The quality of work is second to none. And Vince is a really cool dude. He knows a lot and always seems down to just talk to you about anything.
IDK, take it or leave it. I know I will be going to Vince for all of my tint needs and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I'm going with best image Seems to fit what I'm looking for good quality tint (suntek). Price $140-150. Only issue is the % tint. Going 35 front and either 20% or 15% in the rear. I'll post pictures and my review of best image.

I just got mine done from Vince last week. He quoted me at $320 for ceramic tint(front and back). But, after the tint job was done, we chatted for a while and he was nice enough to bring down the price to $280(which is what he quoted me for metallic tint).
