Time to upgrade my Palm Vx

Yes, I own the PalmVx that came out in 1999. It's time for a new one and want to switch to either another Palm device with WiFi capability. I think Sony has a unit as well. There are so many out there now it's difficult to choose.

What device do you use? Likes/dislikes?
I never liked the palm writing recognition software, is there anything better? Cost is not an issue, just good integration between Outlook and the organizer.
thanks,
bill

If you still like palm devices you should go with a palm T|X with wi-fi, but id recommend getting an HP Ipaq which is based off microsoft OS, you can find alot more software + its cheaper.. and most come with wi-fi + bluetooth.. as for SONY, they found out PDAs werent big in the market anymore and bolted in 2003 they dont make PDAs anymore.

I'm noticing that there is some popularity to the iPaqs. I'm also intruiged by the possiblility of GPS navigation the garmin and navman offer. Unfortunatley the Navman is missing the Wifi piece. I'm still researching all the products available.

Happy with my Ipaq 4355 from a couple years ago. For Nav, I picked up the Bluetooth Ipaq wireless Nav add-on for about $150 from E-bay : maps of entire USA and a wireless bluetooth receiver (the 4355 has bluetooth built in). Works great!
