Is it time to truly worry about Russia?
****ing Georgia is the one who went out after they little provinces first. It's not like Russia moved in first, those little provinces asked Russia to help them. Stupid Russia, but even stupider USA...

First of all, have you ever lived in Russia? The answer to that is no. Please stop assuming that the things you hear on the news or read on the internet are always true. Second, do you honestly believe that the US government is any better or less corrupt?
It's a lot easier to hide the truth from people when they're much less educated. The end.

No but I guess my family that lives there doesn't mean anything right? And how would you know if I did or didn't?
90% of my moms side still live in Russia, all my Grandparents brothers and sisters. My grandmother tells me a lot of what life is like there. I was actually going to live there for 6 months but then the government sold the house my cousin was going to let me live in.
Don't act like you know everything, you have no idea who I am or who I know and what I hear from family whom live in Russia and experience day to day life there.

But my point is after we did, this all starts happening. Just too odd.

Also, who says that the US should oversee the international order and "keep it's eyes on Russia"?
To add to your Georgia comment, I'm not sure if you are fully aware of the circumstances of Russia's invasion into Georgia as the facts were undoubtedly biased but just as the US seeks to protect it's citizens and people around the world, so does Russia.
I'm trying to keep it as constructive as possible even though I am Russian, travel to Russia frequently, have all of my family in Russia and am really interested in politics.

Furthermore, I agree that the older population in Russia might not like the current situation as under communism they were better taken care of and there was a smaller separation of classes. I am not saying that the country is for everyone, but not everyone's for that country either. We are talking about politics and the economy, remember that. Don't make this personal as I am not.
What language does your grandmother tell you all these things in?

Don't worry, turns out some admiral just went rouge. Shouldn't be a big deal.
Here's a pic

He doesn't even look Russian if you ask me.

Before you make bold statements, please make sure you elaborate when you say unstable government. What is unstable in Russian politics?
Also, who says that the US should oversee the international order and "keep it's eyes on Russia"?

It is pointing out that AFTER we interfered with their conflict all of a sudden unclear actions are happening closer to home (USA) with a country that hates us involving weapons.
And it is the RIGHT of the US Government to keep its eye on Russia for the protection of its people.. Especially when Russia is involved with a country like Venesuela.
And you are honestly going to say Putin is stable? Not saying the KGB is all bad, but it is certainly a shiesty organization. My family can speak from experience. And Putin was certainly heavily involved with KGB.
