does anyone in bay area take their modified car to teh dealer for scheduled maintanence? if so, where?

 

i think the question should be, does anyone take their car to the dealership for scheduled maintanence

save a lot of money doing it yourself or if you dont' feel comfortable doing it yourself, then there are local reputable shops that will do it for a ton less than the dealership

 

I take my modded wrx to carlsen for scheduled service, and i bring in my own mobil1 oil... figured it might help resale value down the road

 

OT: does it void your warranty if you don't take your car to the dealer for regularly scheduled service?

 

Not as long as you keep track and records of the fact that you did have the required maintenance done.

 

there would be no valid warranties if you had to go to the dealership for oil changes. . . and the fact that there would probably be anti-trust action against them . . .
