Hey guys,

I've been reading all these horror stories of 04 wrx's running lean with TBE and Up pipes because of the delay between OL/CL switchover, so I want to get tuned.

So my question is, what kind of tunes are available (take in consideration its an 04), and how much would they help/increase power?

I'm not trying to spend $1000 on engine management, just looking at possible reflashes maybe? Tell me what you guys think..

Go with an ECUTek reflash. I'm partial to S-Squared here in Sacramento. They offer a great deal on the reflash and will custom tune your car on their in house AWD dyno. You can get additional flashes later for a much smaller fee than the first tune - the big cost on the first tune is the ECUTek license for your car.

Sacto is a little far from Castro Valley. Basically the only tuning around east bay is Vishnu, and is I-speed back yet? I heard from MPJ that Gruppe-S is getting a dyno and going to start dyno tuning in a month or so? I've heard nothing but great stuff about S-Squared but I don't know if you want to go out that far.
