how much boost would you suggest
I have a t3/t04 hybrid going on my 1.8 sometime in the next week or two. Im planning on swopping in some 2.2 injectors, rails and Fuel pressure reg. Im hoping to run about 5psi but will i be safe to bump it up a bit at the track..
I dont mind to much if it blows but i at least need to get my new botom end started befor that happens.

Well, once you put that intercooler on, you can turn it up. It'll reduce your chances of detonation quite a bit.
I'll admit that my knowledge of the EJ18 or EA82 engines is somewhat limited, but I've worked on the 2.5 and 2.2 enough to say that I wouldn't put more than 6 psi on that sucker without some timing control.
