Stupid nails... damn construction people

Got a nail in my right front last week. Went to americas tire, said they can't repair it cause the tread is too low. Walk out to my car for lunch today right rear is flat. to living in a new housing area where construction workers apparently like to fire nails into the street.

Hmm... maybe its time to upgrade to 17 x 8 wheel/tire package. Are the Azeni's or MX's out in 235/40/17 yet?

MX's aren't

Azenies are, but only in ST-115's, RT215's were never availible in 235/40/17, and probably wont be...the new RT-615's will be availible in 235/40/17 but they aren't due till the third quarter of 2005.

For that reason, I hate driving in the parking lot of Home Depot, Loews etc. I usually park way out.

that sux. happened to me too. except it happened to my so3's which i had scrubbed down to the perfect level for track and america's tire said no. i begged and asked if i could sign an agreement that i wouldn't sue 'em, but they said no. so i popped a new set of so3's on. (cost an arm and a leg) and within a week i had two nails in the rear tire....
