hahaha. I had a filipino flag hanging from my rearview. I'm not filipino at all, but my wife and kids are filipino citizens and have never been to the USA. It was more of a homesick thing for me. I would occasionally get funny looks from people driving by like, WTF????

Yes, for one very specific reason: 6cyl vs 8cyl.

Another one that I absolutely love are the "lifted" JDM slant hood yO! where they put washers/spacers between the hood and hinge to raise the trailing edge of the hood up. All that says to me is "Hi, I dont' know anything about anything." I have yet to see a car where they actually needed to do this to clear something. I know some idiots claim it helps lower underhood temps, but the reality is, it will do NOTHING for underhood temps in most cases.

I saw one car where it was necessary. It was a 90's Camaro, the guy needed more space for his supercharger.

I guess I was referring mainly to import dudes that do this with no clue why they are doing it I probably wouldn't question it on something with a small block Chevy because it probaby does have a clearance issue.

#1 for me are the fake fender vents. OK, pretty simple to see that they not only don't go anywhere and they DON'T make your car look like it cost any more than you paid for it. It didn't just become luxury because you slapped these on. Seriously, are these people thinking?

#2 - I really, REALLY, don't care how many people are in your ****ing family. Is that so we know how many charred bodies to look for when you roll your aerostar over or what? This is information that literally benefits nobody. I just don't get it

You guys have others, I know it.
im with you on these, theres a guy here with a dodge caravan i think that has the vents allllll the way around his car.
i work at a GM dealer and it hurts to say i sell those vents i didnt want to stock them but people kept asking so i couldnt pass up the $$.

i even get people who come in and buy the GM ones from the buicks (guess buick started the fender vent thing back in the day) and escalades and then they go have somone cut holes in there fenders and install them looks much better then the stick ons

dont like the family stickers either....but i did see one that was kinda cool it had a family and 2 dogs but the 2 dogs had X's over them like teh died or somthing, hella funny and messed up your kids gotta see that, didnt take the stickers off just X them out like a fighter pilot took them out.

One of my least favs comes from back home in Hawaii - the big *** "Ainokea" stickers. I wanted to counter by saying the opposite but then it would mostly be confused for support of a certain Swedish housewares store.

"TRY WAIT" is another Hawaii thing which I also have on my car. It's means "just a sec" or something along those lines.

Just like "WATUFAKA" is sort of like "oh hello, what are you up to today?" or something along those lines... HAHA..

Yeah, but I have a hard time believing that even 10% of them are from hawaii.

All those weird stickers. No bad days. The family tree. The gecko. The turtle.

I'm just like... wtf. O.k. Let your inner surfer out I guess. haaaa.
