Has anyone tried either the EBC Redstuff (Ceramic), Yellowstuff (Ceramic)or greenstuff brake pads on their Sti? I have only been able to find a couple of people that have tried them but no real detailed reviews on personal experience with the brake pads.

I am going to mostly be doing street driving during the week. Then spirited driving through the hills on the weekend with times of heavy breaking. I read that the Axxis Ultimate pads are also some good pads......Any INFO?

Ive had the greens on another car and they were okay. they dusted alot, despite they're claim to be the most 'dust free'. I didnt buy them for that feature but found it amusing that they dusted more than my hawks/ Performance Friction/ Carbotechs despite of that claim. If your looking for a good street pad with better bite than stock and still decent rotor wear and no excessive NOISE(ahem, carbotech panthers Im lookin at you..) I would grab a set of Hawk HPS, Ive ran these on 3 different cars and are currently on my STI and vette and love them. And they are usually the least expensive of all the other pads to boot!

We have the Carbotech Bobcat pads, and don't have any problems with them. Daily driving is great, and "spirited" driving is completely fade-free...
No, we don't have an STi...but we have the STi brakes on a Forester XT...

As long as you don't seriously "TRACK" the car, the reds they will be good. They yellows were ok, but need a lot more heat, and I wouldn't recommend them for the street or track because they had problems on both.
