And I hate apple products...bought an ipod in 2003 and have never gotten anything else or another ipod because I hate the mac os (grew up with pc at home, mac at school)

I have so many songs that can't just be bought off itunes so I haven't updated my ipod since the computer it was synced on stop workin in like 06

Mom just got a mac desktop thing cuz she said its easier to use but I dislike it a lot..would rather use my old *** pc

(So no, not everyone loves steve jobs ha)
You are aware that you can put non itunes mp3/4s on your ipod right? The sync doesn't matter either.

Yes $1 a year............. with tons of perks. How about that philanthropy he did? Good job you are the richest man in the cemetery.
From my understanding jobs got the job? Woz was helping him. If woz isn't holding it against him why should you? People tent to grow over 35 years of life.

Just one of many interviews with woz.

The possibilities if you leave a negative thought process outbox your head.

Not everyone uses charity to dodge taxes or make themselves look good to a news reporter.

Arrogance has nothing to do with it. Weaver took millions less from the angels than he got offered from other teams. Was he being arrogant to turn it down?

He isn't even the one that made his salary public info.

A more likely scenario is smart financing. There are taxes avoided as he's not taking the profit from the stocks annually. Then add in the fact that paying himself say a $12m salary and $40m in bonuses puts a massive hit in apples profit margins. Those hits negatively effect his stocks and those of the stock holders he represents. I think all of the business heads should do this. Honest business.

Cant argue with that

Want to swap in a fresh battery into your iPhone or iPod? No can do - Steve doesn't allow that.

Can you do that with a Zune?

Want to root your iPhone? No can do - Steve doesn't allow that.

Never really needed to, yes its annoying at times the things I CANT do but whatever. Its never failed me in almost two years when all my other phones lasted about 6 mos to a year.

Want to sell your app or accessories to Apple consumers without going thru Apple's hoops and paying their fees? No can do - Steve doesn't allow that.

I just sell mah sexi body on craigslist

Want DRM-free music that you paid for? No can do - Steve doesn't allow that.

thank God for torrents!

Want to xfer music from one computer to another using your iPod? No can do - Steve doesn't allow that.

Um... theres programs for that. Ive done it, twice.

Want to walk into an Apple store and get immediate help without an appointment? No can do - Steve doesn't allow that.

OK THIS one REALLY made me wanna comment....

You bash on Apple stores cause you have to make an appt?? Dude... can you even FIND a Windows store to walk into? How about a help line to assist me with OS problems? Windows has one... its like $50 a hour for some dude in India to tell me to "power off the unit and turn it back on"

Apple stores need you to make an appt cause theres usually a line out the ****ing door for people wanting apple products and wanting to learn how to use them. I for one like the fact I can walk into any Apple store and even without an appt sometimes get my questions answered.

I use to H A A A A A A T E Apple! then I borrow my sisters 2nd gen Nano and (HAD TO) download iTunes to use it. But after the absolute nightmare I had with my zune, its crap-tastic OS, and even worse computer software I was very happy how iTunes found all the music on my computer (even the stuff I forgot I had on the external) and loaded it for me, downloaded correct artist info and album artwork. I was hooked. I own a half dozen Apple products and love the customer service even more than the hassle free use of the products.

So they arent perfect, I cant use Flash on my iPhone or change my mail alert tone back to the "Mail motha ****a" I had on my blackberry... so what? In 6 months my blackberry had more issues and problems than all of my apple products have combined in the past 3 years.

Thank you Steve Jobs, you mightve been an *** to work for (try being in the military and see if you dont run into a LOT of guys like that on a DAILY basis...) but you were a visionary! You will be missed.

^^^^Microsoft are building stores actually. there is one being put in literally directly across from the apple store in West Feild Valley Fair. Steve Jobs was a dick, The company who my mom manages which provides in home nursing care (24/7 in house care, they only cater to super rich people its like 300 dollars an hour) got asked to come work for steve jobs a few years back and they denied the contract because he was such a douche. He literally said that none of the nurses that worked in his house could be Republican or he did not want them to give him care. thats a bit much but i guess people can demand what ever they want when they are that rich.

Thats about as moronic as hippies spitting on me and my uniform in Berkeley just cause I work for the government... never mind the fact I am the one they call when their dumb asses are drowing and freezing to death when thier boat overturns or something.

Ok, so microsoft is finally building stores.... only took them I donno 5 years to catch up to Apple on that front. I bet you still have to make an appt there... and I bet the help wont be nearly as friendly and personable

Yeah, it's a pretty rad "job."

Did you get sent over to Cuba or Afghanistan? I know you guys deployed out that way over the last few years. My buddy was in Cuba. Said he got to run holes through a few drug boats. LOL>

that is all a maybe. The only thing we know for sure is he cancelled the charity programs when he got back to apple and said he would reinstate them when apple got off the rocks, they are doing fine. That is we know.
