Fun Fact: All of the "per swipe", "discount rates", etc are a business expense that a business "writes off" at the end of the month.
TO then charge a customer is just wrong.

A: his tunes are **** so he has to hate on another shop.

If anyone here has an issue with EQ, take that issue up with EQ because I bet they will try to fix the issue. Paul, if you haven't been charged a 3% fee from EQ then you need to stay out of it for the sake of being a professional and having class. You act like trash on the internet. TRASH! Why don't you lead by example? Wait, you can't because you are a ****ing hack.

You should focus on improving your quality before taking sucker punches at other shops in the community.

I'm not sure if you're being paid in discounts or flat-out cash for being such a fanboi of EQ Tuning, but you certainly aren't in touch with reality. Paul doesn't mention EQ Tuning in his reply to knock, and the "Fun Fact" is only stating a common accounting practice that is used by most, if not all, businesses when they're doing their books. I don't see any "subtle attack" on EQ Tuning. After reading your MULTIPLE attacks against Paul, I'd think it was something personal you have against him - you certainly must not have been at the last BAM meet where he donated a built engine to the charity raffle - in addition to your not having any business experience with him.

Perhaps you'd be best advised to S T F U until you DO have the experience, firsthand, to comment.

Am I a Paul@DBTuned fanboi? No. I haven't ever been in the Sacramento area needing vehicle service. As far as Bay Area shops go, I've used three shops from i-club - and only one gets my business after the other two failed at repairing/diagnosing my vehicles.

I wish I was getting paid by EQ. ****... that would be the perfect conspiracy. I actually met Paul at last years BAM and he def made me laugh. I stuck up for EQ because they are doing great things in our community so I don't think its fair for them to be put down by another vendor. I stand by that. The first thing I posted was absolutely out of line and i tried to come down from that in later posts.

Anyways, I'm done posting in this thread. I said what I had to say. I don't think any vendor/shop should be talking **** about its competetion openly. That's all.

Wow wtf happened here?? Seems like all hearsay and mud slinging, so I won't bother adding to the drama train.

Back on topic, we always check and adjust tire pressures on every car that goes on the rack. We also check over all major fluids and top off if necessary. I thought this was pretty common practice for any decent shops. FWIW, we also keep detailed records of all customer's invoices and do not offer any discounts for "cash deals".

Thanks
