QFT - Not sure why anyone would complain. Besides, whenever I get new tires installed, I drive straight home and inflate them properly. I have yet to find a single tire shop that has inflated the tires evenly either to door (factory) spec, or asked me what my specs are for the tires.

The fact that now its a crime not to. Furthermore, this is just one more area where small shops could get screwed for liability, what if some soccer moms tire blows out on her SUV and she plows into a tree?

"Well that shouldn't have happened? Where was that place that changed my oil? Did they really check my tire pressure??

and thats not even a stretch, insurance companies go after anyone they can to keep from paying a claim

We do tire pressure on every car. It's part of... I don't know... the job I suppose.

Also, if you're using nitrogen and paying for it... sorry, but you've wasted some money you could have used for something much more beneficial to your life.

A tire mounted to a rim has air in it. Does Costco (or whoever) evacuate the air under a vacuum and make sure pure nitrogen is pumped in? Is 100% nitrogen (diluted by the amount of air you started with) better than 80% nitrogen (air)?

Race cars use nitrogen because of the expansion. You don't own a race car. I don't care how much you want your Impreza/Legacy/Forester to be one... it isn't (unless it really is in which case you're in the minority and by all means use nitrogen, but I still think you're wasting your pennies).

In conclusion... DON'T WASTE YOUR FRIGGIN' MONEY!!!

You should look at what Ferrari puts in its F1 car's tires. They had some crazy combo that helped grip and had marked improvements in tire wear

Why would a customer support a business that charges an additional 3% for the same job?

Fun Fact: All of the "per swipe", "discount rates", etc are a business expense that a busniss "writes off" at the end of the month.
TO then charge a customer is just wrong.

Q: why does paul@dbtuned always talk **** about eq tuning?

A: his tunes are **** so he has to hate on another shop.

If anyone here has an issue with EQ, take that issue up with EQ because I bet they will try to fix the issue. Paul, if you haven't been charged a 3% fee from EQ then you need to stay out of it for the sake of being a professional and having class. You act like trash on the internet. TRASH! Why don't you lead by example? Wait, you can't because you are a ****ing hack.

You should focus on improving your quality before taking sucker punches at other shops in the community.

Wow, Rob.
I had no idea you like salted nuts.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you and I have ever conducted business.

How many engines that my shop has built have siezed during start up?
If an engine that I've built starts to consume oil, I'd fix the problem ASAP, not tell the owner that his turbo is bad, when in fact, it is a motor issue.
And when we do screw up on a diagnosis, we fix the problem as quickly as we can.
Maybe Im not the consummate professional.
Maybe my actions here cost me business.

And for the record, I am not a hack, I am an *******.
