it will be a very good game and seems like it will be balanced well in time but we must remember that scbw was not very balanced at first with spawning pools for 150 and so on. Also if you guys want to check out high level replays and such check out www.teamliquid.net they have a lot of content and its very good for discussion and so on.
But i need to get a new computer for it so if anyone wants to make a few extra bucks helping me pm me!

Pre ordered and played beta. Picked up at midnight launch but I havent even opened the box yet. I just went to sleep. I hear lots of people took the day off to play though.

The beta was alot of fun. The new units do add alot to the game, but it definitely didn't lose it's identity. There's still zergling/zealot/marine rushes. The maps are interesting, and having an army of mixed units is encouraged (there's no one unit that tears everything up, tho a few that are popular).
I would recommend it, especially if you liked SC1. Or if you want to wait, Alien Swarm is a really fun game that's available for free through Steam. My friends and I are playing that until the servers get less overloaded.
