It's not the fine that I would be worried about. If the ticket results in points on your driving record, what's that gonna do to your insurance rate? I know a guy with a '98 Saturn who has had several speeding tickets and he pays an astronomical amount to insure that POS (his term, not mine).
Maybe you could ask for a traffic school option if you haven't used it recently.

yeah i really just dont want the point, im gonna do whatever i can to get it dismissed!!! all the tickets ive had in the past (2... and a long time ago) werent really for speeding so it didnt deter me from it, this one has tought me a lessson and i really dont want the consequences! i guess im just young and dumb... live and learn eh?
