The SCR (Sports Car Revolution) is entertaining to me at least.

The most annoying commentator has got to be Derek Daly.

I don't know about MotoGP since I don't watch it, but I remember Ralph Shaheen commentating WRC made me want to poke my ears out.

Shaheen is at least knowledgeable, but please the man does *not* have a good voice for broadcasting.

Daly is simply insane, but not in a good way like Hobbes. Honestly, hearing or seeing DD on a race broadcast will literally make me turn the channel. I won't watch or listen to the guy.

On the current f1 crew, I think they're overusing Windsor - his bits are mostly not that interesting and any form of "grid walk" needs to get axed immediately.

IMO, americans, as spectators are lazy as heck.

who'd want to drive up to some spot. wait hours on end, and then watch cars fly by for mere seconds...

we would rather sit in nice bleachers and watch the action go around and around... and around...

Honestly I would go one step further and say Americans are just LAZY as heck. Everyone wonders why Americans are so fat.. hmmmm the TV is a babysitter and parents only make instant meals for their kids. The kids learn to be turds at an early age.

In NASCAR (or the NHRA top fuelers) you are almost guaranteed to have a Good 'Ol Boy behind the wheel of an American V8.

That's why it's sooooo popular here. They don't care about the actual races. They just care about who's badge is on the car (Ford, GM, Dodge), how much hp it has, and what state the driver was born and raised in. It's sort of like America as a whole just being a big fan boi of itself.

True story.

Fixed

I would get agitated sitting in the stands watching my favorite NASCAR turd fly around in circles. Maybe that's why they are all drunk? It makes it a whole lot more fun.

I would POSSIBLY watch it if the term "stock car" still applied. Hey look at the Ford taurus doing 200 mph!!! Holy crap there goes a Monte Carlo!!! Back in the old days you could watch a car that was based on a real car that you could buy. Granted it had alot of work done to it but it was not a tube frame fiberglass body "car"
