I'm not impressed at all.

$20+ for THAT?!

It's not even a REAL JDM car.

Actually, the very fact that he calls this a Ver 4 STi, yet it's NOT, it's pretty ****ing stupid and offensive.

He has a mismash of body parts, it's LHD, it's got a ****ing tow hitch... need I go on?

I don't go around calling my car a 22b...

Why you guys drooling over this!?

You can find unmolested RS, and swap it. Really not much different.

^ Still, you can tell a lot went into 'restoring' that car. Hell, look at all the new bolts and nuts.

I agree the price is high, but it's still neat to see that someone did all of this.

I like your car too, but you don't have all those shiny bolts While I agree that a lot of meticulous detail went into that car, I also agree that it is NOT a v4 STI, it is a replica. The seller basically points this out while at the same time still calling it an STI?

It is like the craigslist people trying to sell a 2.5RS as a WRX because they have a few WRX parts on it, or a few STI parts on a WRX so they post it as an STI. NOT. I have STI parts on my car, that doesn't make it an STI. Or an M3 or a Type R.

OCD+Money = lost money when you do a project like that. WTF is the point of doing all that and then trying to sell it? You will NEVER get your money back on something like that.

lol Gagan bringing the hatoraid!!

But seriously though, its obviously more than an RS with a used motor swap. I can totally see how he dropped 35k into all this build, thats also why he should just hang onto it. never going to get anywhere near his money back.

that all said, instead of dropping $21k into a fake JDM car, I would just wait till next year to get a NHTSA legal 25 year old R32 from Canada.

Lookie, heres one now for $15k

R32 Skyline GTR

Yes, this. No one but you will ever appreciate your work enough to pay you for it. Never do this sort of thing in an effort to sell it.

I think a better way to describe the car is to say this is a really nice looking 2.5RS that would be impossible to register and drive in CA. For me, even if I wanted it, it would be useless as a car.

But it is so fresh and so clean.
