Wana help organize a group buy?

Hey guys,

Seriously, I could try and get you guys some good quotes. Work some numbers. State Farms is a really solid company that offers great coverages and really competitive prices. Once you get multiple line discounts (ie cars, homes, rental, bike) everything gets real cheap.

I'll talk to the moderators to see if I can make a new thread to see if I can get some members some good quotes. But for now, you can just pm me. Just need some basic info and then I can work my magic.

State Farm are amazing for my motorbike but terrible for my WRX for some unknown reason. I have clean license, 23 yrs driving experience, GDD etc. I went with them for my mc and it costs ~ $120 per half year, fully comp. My 2002 WRX was quoted $1400 per half year which is almost 3x Allstate's charge. The agent was so surprised she ran the numbers twice and called in to check. Ironically, a workmate with a newer WRX and 10 years younger was only being charged $750. SF couldn't work it out so I stayed with Allstate for the car.

State Farm have am excellent reputation - especially in the motorcycle world so they are always worth a try.

in that case i really think there is something wrong with the system. they should file up and ask why. that price is insane high for your age and just a regular 2002 wrx. it should be much much cheaper than that.

Yup, they figured it was some kind of glitch, but couldn't do anything about it. They suggested waiting a few months and trying again.

It is pretty insane, Thats how much I came up with when messing around with the system. State farms tries to attract customers that will purchase more than one policy. Thats when it starts to get cheap. Basically, the more policies you have with a company, they believe its more likely you will stay with that company. Its all about retention, and State farms definitely rewards you for that. MOTORCYCLE coverage is unbeatable with State farms. It is probably the best, as long as you have a car and bike insured with them. (ie good for anyone young)

Funnily enough, that's why I got the quote on the car. Back then I was paying around $190 per half on the bike and they suggested that they could lower my rate by insuring my car as well. Sure enough, the bike's quote dropped by about $90, but the increase on the car overpowered it by a long way.

I have my house + car with Allstate now, but they don't do motorcycles anymore. Still, I'm very happy with the State Farm policy for my bike. The agent and company have always been very responsive and helpful - definitely recommended despite the car issue (which I think is a bug rather than something that would affect anyone else).
