Picking up my WRX Today......just ordered
Break the car in first and get used to it before you start messing with it.
CAIs don't do much on these cars and may actually cause problems so I agree that money would be better spent elsewhere.

o god, not this intake or no intake garbage again...
CAI help, whether u want to believe it or not... if you have no experience w/one, dont start talkin **** about them and saying they dont do anything! dyno numbers and track results speak louder then anyone's 'opinion'
xs enginnering is the best intake on the market

Thank you Hasan for clearing that up. I totally agree with you. Xs-engineering shows a dyno that there intake can put an extra 13.9 hp to the wheels and 10.9 of torque to the wheels. If that isn't proof enough that they do something then what is?

I get what you mean about the hp-tq curves but with the intake it pretty much adds hp and tq all through the band, you aren't losing any hp at any point.

With the money you spend on a CAI -- might as well get s Full turbo inlet hose like the AVO one, faster spool and more power than any CAI ! or a Perrin p turbo inlet hose with the zero sports RAM intake, just a lil more for better results....
BTW -- are u portuguese ?

Yeah I am portuguese. Why you ask?
Hasan whats up with this turbo inlet hose? Where can I get one from.
10k miles is a lot to wait for. i am having trouble waiting 1,000.
As soon as I get to 1,000 I will put on the intake and then mod it a little here and a little there.
Next mod is a mbc and then that turbo inlet hose. Then the turbo xs stealth back kit.
What do you guys think?

How much modding are you expected to do ?? If u decide to keep stock turbo and intercooler i HIGHLY recommend upgraded IC hose's....you can probably talk to a vendor to get a deal on all SAMCO stuff.....Turbo inlet hose, and IC hose's......you will spool up a hell of alot faster and push slightly more psi and hold it longer....but if your like me and other chops down neck and wanna go all out, then I would wait and purchase a custom garrett package as they will be readily available in the next few months....save the pennies, put more miles on the car and then bam ! ok rambling now....peace

! I agree to also let it break in, and would suggest not to mod it until 10k miles, just to get familiar with the car, and make sure everything is working right.
