hey what up man.. where's that handrail??? I go to sfsu as well and used to skate those ledges in the tennis courts by the school until they shut em down... where do you skate around here? 7

anyway I dislocated my shoulder snowboard twice in the last 2 years and it's always a better idea just to have it checked out by the doctor.. I mean you look like youre into sports.. why risk f*cking it up? good luck with the knee

+1! that's cheap to avoid a potential life time pain!

I have a life time injury on my knee due to waiting.. I didn't wait but 18 years ago when I was a teenager I fell down a few flights of stairs and my mom said walk it off. after a year she felt bad I guess and took me to doctors. They told my mom if I had come in a year ago they could have done something. Now I live in pain on my knees for my lifetime. DON'T MESS AROUND. 3500 is a cheap price when u think of your future.

Same. I paid $250 when I broke my leg. That included two ER trips (one to the ER in Tahoe, then to the ER in Sacramento when I was transfered down), two, three day (two night) hospital stays, 8-10 x-rays, tons of painkillers and drugs, surgery, hardware, consultations, casting, bandaging, etc, etc. The first ER visit alone was $3445

yeah.. well... really money isnt the biggest issue.

it's more like my dad saying "well why the **** were you still skateboarding in the first place?"

long story short, i use to skate when i was younger like middle school. got really good, broke my ankle. dad banned me from riding ever since. had to pick up new sport so i wrestled in high school. got really good at it so i got into sfsu and wrestled for them. got injured at sfsu due to wrestling, got threatened to lose my starter position and scholarship so i just decided to quit.

i had nothing else to do anymore so i decided to pick up a board. and i've been having hella fun ever since.. well, until the whole knee thing...

really into skating now, its pretty dope. maybe tryna get something out of it one day. if you guys have heard of "hood games" that was started by me and a friend awhile back. it blew up now and i'm not so much involved but if it's in your area, check it out. lots of pro skaters and free gear like LRG clothes. cuz LRG is one of our official sponsors.. great way to meet people and get cool things.

check it out at hoodgames.net

butttttttttttttttt..... enough about skating.. i think i'll just follow through and cashing out whatever it costs for the damn knee.. dont want to be crippled forever.

-1 for my dad and him being so cheap on the health insurance coverage

haha, that's why i was soooo sick of depending on my parents for everything, ended up buying my own car, putting my own insurance on it, buying my own cell phone, getting my own credit cards, getting a job that allowed me to have my own health insurance, etc.

They ***** and complain too much, this was the only way I could just live my life...
