experienced my first hat trick ever thanks to that young kid and had to toss my hat and congratulate him.
so whats the etiquette about tossing your hat? I threw mine into the lower bowl and I saw some little kid pick it off the ground and wear it for the rest of the game. My girl went down there and told the little kid in front of his dad that he can either toss the hat onto the ice or give it back to us. They gave it back to us, but who grabs a hat after it was thrown to go onto the ice?
