Sharks Thread

Sharks are starting to cool off. Even though the refs and the league missed that Sharks goal late in the game, this game should've been an easy win for the Sharks. They need to get their focus back.

Bad 3rd period. Felt as if Sharks went to a "prevent defense" or penalty kill for the entire 3rd. No aggression whatsoever.
But luckily they were good enough in the first 2 periods to win this game. They really need to step it up and play for the entire game if they're to win the Cup.

Definitely don't want the 3rd to look like that again.. But yup fortunately they did work early on well enough to win, on a side note anyone else stoked raffi is back in the lineup/scored? could be a key part to our teams success as the playoffs continue IMO

That's really been the Shark's biggest flaw all season. They play to protect 3 period leads and end up giving up a lot of late game goals.

Torres, Brown, Gomez...
Seriously awesome additions to our squad.
Nieto, Hertl and Couture...
We have crazy wide spectrum of age. And this year is the first time I've felt like we have enough of the badassery on the squad to take it all the way.
Just need Torres to pick his battles and stay out of major trouble.

He's a hothead. Wasn't helping that the Kings were starting to get a bit scrappy towards the end of the game, naturally with a lead like that.
Insane game though, we looked good in the first even with that 2 goal deficit. Can't say I saw 7 unanswered goals going through after that though.
Sharks looked good of course. If they can roll with these performances into LA, I would like to predict a short series.
Go SJ!
