Nice Job, Gagan!!! You not only won STX, but also would have won STU and came pretty close to beating the STS times!
Clicky the Linky
And yes, I've already let Pat know that I wasn't driving my Two Ton Tank in STX
Thanks again Matt for letting me try out your car with the new coilovers. Some more camber in front (-2 to -2.5), less camber in back (-0.5) and it should turn in a lot better without compromising tire life much!

Spend the gas and time to go to AI. It's worth it.

Congrats Gagan !!

way to go gagan! i told you you were the one to beat. another ho-hum day for me. highlight of the day was driving kanishk's s2000 (i hope i didn't scare the workers at station 2 too badly after my major tail wagging incident on run one). that's the most fun i've had driving at an auto-x in a long time. looks like this slush title is going to be another exciting finish.

I thought it was kanishk driving that time. Those guys weren't paying attention the whole time anyway. I was picking up cones for them. I will never work around those two again.
And yeah, congrats again Gagan.
Thanks guys! I have to say, I didn't think much of that time, at the time, other than if Mark didn't clip me, I'd have top time. But yeah, you are right Ed, comparing it to other times that day, it was pretty fast. That's the lowest I've EVER PAXed, so I guess I had a good day. I wish the car wasn't so unfamiliar with the stiffer dampning settings, but Gilbert says that had I been smoother, the car would've been fine. Always things to work on I guess.
To everyone's credit, and to my discredit, the course was VERY, VERY tight in the first half, and that definitely gave my car the advantage (for once). I don't think I'll see another course that tight for a long while, so Mark should be back to whoopin' me in no time, LOL.
I think you should go to AI in milpitas Matt. It is SO worth it. The alignment settings that Ed suggested are pretty much what i'm running right now.
Do you think we will keep the STX average entries up??? It would nice to have 4 trophies avaiable for 1-4!
Is Mark on this board?
Leo, I think you will have a MUCH better time at marina. You should drive on the Hankooks for the next two weeks, and put some miles on them. Trust me, by the 4th, they will be in great working order.
I think everyone did really well that day, it was a pretty challenging day. Hope to see you guys at Marina!
