Shaping up to be one REALLY close race in STX between Leo and myself! More or less, whichever one of us beats the other this Sunday wins the season championship . Good news is our "extra" competitors last weekend I believe were enough to assure we meet an average of 12 and thus Paul Tibbals will get a trophy.

Looks like STX-N however is pretty much locked down. Congrats to the likely trophy winners Judd (1st with a runaway lead) and Rob (2nd!). Maybe I should sabotage Rob's car so that he can't race and I could take 2nd .

Thanks Leo. I just saw that slush starts Sept 25th. I hope to run that one with the corolla. It sure would not be close to competitive though, I'll be running for fun.

I enjoyed that course a lot more than I was expecting. I thought it would be a bunch of understeer everywhere, but instead, I was getting reasonable cornering and turn in.

Leo : I just know I'm gonna have to be on top of my game THIS Sunday to have a shot at beating you .

Lorry : guess what I've found is that GGF is a lot that very much rewards NOT overdriving the car. I more-or-less calmed down on my last run, and the car was turning in great/smoothly and the time was there.

STX-N's times are so far apart.

Last year more than 65% of the season was Me, Soren and Joe Dulay all within .75 seconds...

It was tough.

I'm getting creamed right now. Judd was faster than me by a long shot. I'll see how the new settings I put on the car will do on sunday, Hopefully better.

He hates the way the car drives. Russ is our little STX Takumi. It's all Driver!

-Gagan, Wishes he was a Takumi.

It was faster with my eyes closed. Nah, I lucked out. I have Leo to thank for getting the car set-up properly.

j, i think you're setting up your car (for the turns) just fine without me!
ed, i looked at the year long results...looks like head to head you've finished ahead of me 6 out of 11 meets. talk about close! i know you'll be on your game on sunday; you're the guy to beat for sure.
gagan, how'd the new ride height feel out there? better, worse, other?

Too high. But only by like 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It's the lack of camber. I'm about about -1.25, and that's just not enough to get the car to stay planted in the turn, so I understeer, and then lift, oversteer, and have to shimmy my way around.

Then again, IT IS GRAVEL GATE... lol

On the street, the car rotates extremely well, but again, over all grip in the turn is not there, it just simply easy to get the car pointed where I want, but I don't have the grip. Camber
