It's the start of the slush season! The first event is this Sunday, 10/7, at Golden Gate Fields San Francisco Region SCCA - Golden Gate Fields

It's $35 to participate. If you're not an SCCA member, you can get a weekend membership for $15 at the site. It's free to just watch. The first morning group should start around 9:45am, so if you want to race in the morning be there around 8:30 to register, walk the course, and prep your car. The afternoon group will start at 1pm at the earliest, but if you want to race in the afternoon you need to be there before noon to register.

 

I'll be there. Can't wait to test out my new suspension setup.

Have fun with the shooting Sam! I've seen one BRZ at one event. I've seen a few people with the FR-S at various events.

 

Last event I was at there were 2 BR-Z's and an FR-S.

 

Hmm, I remember seeing 2 FR-Ss and a BRZ. Anyway, there are a few out there.

I noticed one with Star Specs and it was doing rather well IMO.

 

You might actually be right. I thought there was a point we had two BRZs show up.

I do remember the one with the star specs on it.

 

I guess that just shows what we're really paying attention to.

 

The one with the starspecs is the red FR-S belonging to Des Toups. He's a good driver.

Well it was only my 4th time out. I did get a DNF because I missed a slalom like an idiot. It was a good time, the course was uber confusing at first, but I liked it a lot.
