bank is a pretty good job. Pays well, you learn something.

If you are no longer in high school your main focus should be learning something new, not making money.

Like I have this friend who is majoring in CSE but he spends all day doing this online ebay business buying and refurbishing computer parts, and yeah he pulls in a good 400 or more a week, but he is just not getting good grades at all, never goes out for fun. And I tell him "dude, you graduate, spending each of your summers doing some meaningful internship or CS related research, and you are good to go. Making 50 grand a year totally beats the crap out of what you are doing right now. In college, your main goal should be getting drunk, getting ***, and getting good grades. It is not hard at all to do all three if you budget your time. Find a genius friend to study with, go to parties and hook up instead of getting a high maintainence girlfriend, steal beer from frats and wine from the faculty lounge"

Yup. Well I'm assuming you just graduated from Lowell and are heading to college next year? Don't chill now. Chill the summer after you graduate from college. Everyone thinks "yes I got into college I can relax no" Hell no. Your journy has JUST BEGUN, lots and lots of people won't make it in the next 4 years. Prepare yourself!

verc - you tell em.

I totally agree with verc. learn something while you make some $. If you can get something that will help you in your career, awesome! but if not, summer is a big for construction types of jobs. you will work hard, but at the same time you will learn something that most people will never learn. being able to fix your home later means, you save money and increase the value of your home.

Very true, I also agree....and this job is not only to mod my RS, but to help with tuition as well, which actually comes first, so money is important. It is also something to keep me busy so Im not just sitting around at home, doing nothing....that is what my parents hate. So yes, something constructive and helpful would be great, that I will earn something for my future career or just a useful skill for later on in life, would be good, but im not necessarily going to choose based on that alone. But thank u for the advice....I do agree.

Hi,

Do you want to participate in the greatest Mystery Shopping quests nationwide? Have you ever wondered how Mystery Shoppers are recruited and how prosperous companies keep up doing business in the highly competitive business world? The answer is that many companies are recruiting young, creative, observant, and responsible individuals like you to give their feedback on various products and customer services and thus improve their quality.

As a Mystery Shopper you have only one responsibility: Act as a real customer while evaluating the place you are sent to mystery shop and enjoy all the benefits that go along with your job. Remember that you have nothing to lose, because you are awarded generously for your efforts:

. You get paid between $10 and $40 per hour for each mystery shopping assignment;
. You keep all things that you have purchased for free;
. You watch movies, eat in restaurants, and visit amusement parks for free;
. You are turning your most enjoyable hobby into a well-paying activity.

Be aware that as a Mystery Shopper you can earn on average $100 to $300 per week. The most experienced and hard-working shoppers earn up to $500 weekly. This well-paying job gives you the possibility to visit and observe shops, restaurants, banks, movie theaters, etc. in order to find their flaws and help their owners correct and improve them. You can be a Mystery Shopper whenever you have time, because there is no fixed timetable and you are not obliged to take all the assignments offered.

If you are interested and would like to give a shot to this intriguing job offer, just write me back and I will provide you with more pertinent information.

Good Luck,
Monica Bristol

sounds like bs without reading it....

BUT 2 ot my friends were gametesters for SEGA.

THEY GOT TO PLAY NINJA GAIDEN (which just came out)2 YEARS AGO!!!

They got payed 15 dollars an hour and played video games all day, 40 hours a week. It is probably the best damn job too, and yes you do learn quite a bit about the software life cycle in the process

Yeah ask around your friends/family to see if anyone has any connections to a video game company
